i was wondering if it will be possible to close the watertight doors between compartmants because i heard the interview with Dan Dimitrescu about the fact that the boat will actuly have 3d flooding when the boat is damaged to the point it floods

I doubt you will be able to close bulkhead doors manually.
It is unlikely that a game would include that kind of detail.

What you are looking for is a subsim.

Looking at the vids this morning, and I could swear the doors would highlight when the cursor moved over them.

So you either click the door to go through,............... or, they are closeable.:hmmm:
