Easy for you to say, perhaps; my mouth and tongue don't work that way.
Anyway, Merry Christmas everybody!

german is not so easy to learn or to pronounce for people with english as first language.

I could now say something about Austrians pronouncing German words but it is Christmas so let there be peace.:D

"easy for you to say" is an American idiom which means that the person has a skill that I can't master. It is said in good-natured jest, and never in anger or pick.
For example, if Tiger Woods says "That's an easy putt" you would respond "Easy for you to say"
I am sorry you misunderstood my feeble attempt at humor, and I apologize. I usually try to avoid idioms on this board, but sometimes I screw up.

no need for excuses!
this misunderstanding just shows me that there is still a lot to learn for me. and that english has very fine and humorous idioms.
and that this forum will broaden my horizon. :D
