Is there a way to modify this? I'm dying trying to complete a mission, not being able to move at more than 16x while navigating away from a friendly i found.

Is there a way to modify this? I'm dying trying to complete a mission, not being able to move at more than 16x while navigating away from a friendly i found.

None that I know of. 16x is max when in visual contact with any ship. You need to get about 10,000 meters away to break contact.
