there arent many good maps for just a few subs out there ive seen but this is definately one fo the best. it was created by our fellow comsubspac member magic after many hours of scouring the net and researching convoys and convoy tactics

i can almost guarantee this is quite unlike any of the single missions or multiplayer missions that most players have done over and over.

your wolfpac is sitting in the artic ocean with only 4 subs facing a wonderfully created convoy with a simplistic yet beliveable story behind it saying there is experimental fuel being shipped and it must be stopped at all costs. its a mission with actual objectives *something ive never seen before* and your main targets are three very plain tankers in the midst of massive empire types and light cruisers and it can take quite a bit of manuvering crossing yoru fingers and running silent to get the ever elusive pair of large tankers running slowly in the midst of the convoy guarded by a carrier and destroyers weaving in and out.
this is a simply wonderful game and i highly reccomend it to anyone who wants a wonderfully fresh experience with not many players.

if anyone is intreated this along with several other homemade maps can be downloaded at our site *see sig below

magick is indeed proving himself to be the newest shining star among the handful of mission creators we have at ComSubsPac.

Your description makes me wish I could play this mission soon! Where's magick when you need him? :-?

I would have to be so busy with my system rebuild and other concerns when he rolled that one out for everyone to play!

I really like that Norway mission he put together. Sneaking past that first line of DDs to sink the LSTs before they make it into the fjord is a real challenge. With all the aircraft and naval salvos flying about, it makes you feel as if you're truly in the middle of a huge and crucial battle! :yeah:
