last night i was experiment with s3d tool and ships files like sim,dat zone,val etc. The result was to create a "ghost" ship that you can see it on the horizon but 1/ if you look through binoculars you haven't info (the little green triangle doesn't appears 2/ if you try to shoot with dg ammo passing through 3/ torps also passing through its keel.
please give me instructions to correct
ps i forgot to make a copy before do changes

Hmm, GWX & SH4 both contain ghost ships, perhaps you could get the info you need from there.

itīs most probably a matter of the *.zon file. Either the new unit is lacking a *.zon file or the *.zon file wasnīt cloned properly. If the *.zon file wasnīt cloned correctly, the links between collision spheres / boxes and the 3d objects in the unitīs *.dat file are broken. Thus the game enigne can not detect any collision, no matter if itīs your boat, a torpedo or a projectile.

Classify it as Enviromental.
No info is given on it then.
Even your lookouts will not spot it.
The Zon file handles collisions as DD stated.
