GreyLynx had trouble connecting to the server. He disabled the 2nd Firewall and that solved it.
The sun had just set. The horizon was still visible, but not for long, since the moon has also set. Visibility was less than 2 km.
The 2 U-Boote Captains approached the STBD side of the convoy. The 2 DDs were patrolling back and forth in front of the convoy, meeting in the centre and then returning to the sides. They were synchronized like clockwork: 15 minutes for each leg. Mata calculated the right time to pass behind the DDs when they were diverging, their Sonar pointing away.
GreyLynx chose to go South, way out on the STBD side of the convoy, and waited for the DD to converge towards the centre of the convoy to move in.
The DDs were lighting up the sky with Star Shells as if they expected to see the subs on the surface. DDs had Radar at that time!
Mata fired 2 torps at the Liberty Ship 41, then her Stern torp at the Fast Cargo 51, to make believe that she was moving towards the STBD side of the convoy, when actually, she was going for the Tanker 42.
Greylynx saw the Fast Cargo 51 on fire and sank it. He then sank the Liberty 52 ship.
Mata was in firing position for the Tanker, fired 2 torps, but one was a DUD!
The 2 DDs were now rushing to intercept the U-Boote. Capt_Haddock was heading towards the 2nd column from the right, while Ninja_Ka was heading towards the 1st column from the right.
When Mata recognized the silhouette of the Tribal Class DD, she Crash Dived 3 times to reach 150m since her Torpedo Tubes were empty, and the DD has the deadly HedgeHog. Capt_Haddock made his 1st attack, but Mata avoided it and remained silent. When Capt_Haddock returned for a 2nd attack, he pinged a Whale and spent the rest of the game trying to kill it, while Mata remained deep and silent. He finally killed it, but he kept going at it.
Meanwhile, GreyLynx remained at PD and was waiting for Ninja_Ka to come closer and fire a torp at him. But the DD pinged a Whale and attacked it. GreyLynx approached slowly to fire his torp, but the time was up.
