If there were any doubts about eye candy Mods
This Mod would take away any possible doubts that eye candy
is a must have in any game or mod made today.
It is not a good option in this days to make any
game that is not full of well built graphics that will go along
side with a good argument or story, if you think that only this
last year games like Tomb Raider, Call Of Duty, Crysis, far Cry
Grand Theft Auto, among others that arrived our stores full
of fabulous graphics, you have to agree that eye candy or graphic
enhancements are a Flag on any game or Mod today...


for all of this I proposed a target to achieve with
this new upcoming version of the U-Boat series...




Quality for excellence, Visual impact for a Mod that at the beginning
nobody was paying to much attention and that now is flying shoulder
to shoulder along side with the most recognized Ones...


So maybe its time to remember ,

What I want you guys to remember, is that
This Mod will take time to do, And certanly more then the
last version, for 2 reazons...

- Real life engag.
- I want to release higher quality graphics then
Then last version...


Just to give you an example, I am Doing the Main
Intro screen for 3 hours allready, and its the
secound one I am develop. cause the first was
not what I wanted...:timeout:


So it will take time,
Periodic Posts will be made here about dev,
but I will avoid post some stuff cause it will spoile

Have been developing Some Intro screens,
and as i thought from 5 made 3 of them survived
the trash can...

I have no conclusions untill the moment whish from this 3
will be the Official intro screen but here they are for your
apreciation ...

I am making Wallpapers of some screens after in the end when I finish the Mod
Dev...For now I have to concentrat on this Dev mate...

You would get nuts just to look to the amount of changes that i only have to make
to the menu_ini...:yawn:

Update and Info

Hi everyone...

There as been a small step back on this Mods Dev...

I have been working with the Previouse U-Boat graphics
installed over GWX 3.0 with the new Cfg and menu-ini files
from GWX 3.0 mocified in order to make easely the changes
and testing purposes...everything whent fine untill I instaled
the latest Mod from BBW GWX 3 St Naz and Schluese and other units
Then my own U-Boat mod started geaving me errors and CTD
sequences...

I am at the moment trying to figure out why since BBW mod doesn't
touch any of the Files my Mod uses....

My best option is now to remake the all Cfg and Menu-ini U-Boat files
in order to see if this happends again...

So Thats what I have been testing and remaking , cause really
without this files workink properly its impossible to make
the graphic changes and testings on the SHIII game...


Officers Icons for the Barracks and Damage compartment are
being built as we speack and a new uniform also to make more
available options on that area...

So now the uniforme will not be equal to all , some qill have a
Rain coat and others the normal uniform....

I am working on day by day base, cause realy betwin Real Life
and the time left for modding things can be very complicated
some times in order to advance a litlle everyday...

This is a Develop Info update for the time being...:up:


As soon as I finish the Cfg and Menu-ini files testings today
I will advance on the Graphics again and will post some more
Info and Screens for you guys to be aware of the overall Dev...:salute:

I will load your new version when it is ready and no doubt will use it.
These eye candy mods just make SH3 get better and better.

I am redoing the all Menu-ini and cfg Files for the U-Boat,
And redoing also all its file structure cause some of the
Files contained in the Textures folder for example are no lomger
Needed in the Recent GWX 3.0 , I think this time they have done
also a great job by adding the new Water and Env colors from
Racer B, and damage effects are also pure quality as far as I see,
so U-Boat III will target mainely the Menus structure of SH III and
concequently will change and revamp The Same files of GWX...

New Officer faces for the barracks are going as planed and
I can now say that during this nest weekend I will post a screen
of this guys in here for you to see, thought the old ones will
go as optional with the Mod....


As I thought Something went rong with my U-Boat mod after I instaled
BBW mod but just cause I ad files that were changing stuff that are not
needed to be changed, I have no need of changing The VIIC 41 Sub cause
realy GWX 3 haves one of its own, insted I will add a new VIIC skin
made by Fubar that was suposed to be released in the last U-Boat version
but never did for a question of Timing....


So this is it for now, I Know that you want screens and need them to see
the Mods Develop. and that will be posted this weekend Toghether with a
huge update on this Mod dev...:yeah:

PC is finaly working perfect,
Hard disk formated and XP Pro instaled evrything is were
it as suposed to be...

Instaled last stuff i needed today....

I can finaly download and upload without problems,
As I thought it must have been SP3 from mister Bill gates...:down:

Now I will install the final stuff I need to make the graphics
Just finished instaling SHIII today , time is shorter then usual,
lots of real life work....Hours...:wah:

Now I just have to install Adobe paintshop CS4 or 3 and some other stuffto finaly start working this mod ahead....:salute:

Don't get thinking it is to be on the lost and found road,:D

Its just that lately my time is to linited to do all what I want !:haha:

OK guys Finally installed the Adobe CS4 and today I have the day Free,
so I will finish instaling all the programs I need to mod and also
Patching my fresh SHIII install to 1.4b, I am planing returning
to the Officer faces now during the afternoon today, after instaling also
GWX 3.0....


Now I have the same problem with my Forum wish I am geting tired of,
I can not login even being the Adminst , in the forum...


So much problably I will give up the Damn forum agian..

It must be a Curse...I think I will never be able to have a forum on my
site that will give me no problems....LOL:D

Hi there guys..

Ok today its time to retouch my site , nothing big but giving some final touch to
some pages, and then start modding the U-boat III..

I have instaled GWX 3 today and got the game ready for modding it finaly...

Today I am suposed to be free, suposed cause usualy they call me from work
to return on my free days...LOL

But I am starting things now again and if they do not call me I will start modding the UB III today at the end of the day...

So here stays the Hot Lines..

I am very sorry for the delay on this,
but my life sucks in what of free time
is concerning at the moment, I have
work all over to finish and so this Mod
is on old for a time now...


However I have decided to advance you some info and
New on this subject and a decided to do it a diferent way...


MY Plans !

I have decide to between today and tommorow release
a Uboat Beta version 1 that will be simply a upgrade to the
latest released GWX so that you can use the last released
U-boat version with the Current GWX version...

This version will have everything as the past U-boat version plus
some changes that I allready worked on for the WIP U-boat
that I am working on...


So stay focus cause I will release it in a new thread ....

This U-boat version will not be for the trash can,
as soon as I have time I will restart working on it...

A new thread will be made possibly today or tomorrow releasing the
U-boat beta 1 version...

reduced personal to minimum and so I am packed with

Guys I have
apologies to make to all of you,
and also to explain why I stooped coming and Developing this Mod.


My company where I work has made huge Cuts on personal, and
now I find myself working 14 hours a day, the time thats left I sleep
and dedicate some of it to my real life...

I arrive home devastated and only with time to sleep and rest for some hours....

I feel bad cause since U-Boat 2 I have been trying to make this one and just have no free time to do it.


I will explain better next time what are my plans when I have some free time to come here and post ...
