Get III loaded then download GWX 3.0 its the standard!:up: Realism out the yazoo.
Then go to SHIII mods section and get real life boats and debris mod that adds men in lifeboats paddling away from ships you sunk! Then add the Water effects mod that adds water running down the side of your U-boat.

They are both great and I play both regularly although GWX 3.0 is hard to beat.

As always: 4 is the better platform, with better graphics, better crew management (for the win). 3 has had a lot longer development time, with mods settled in and established.

SH3 still has more support. SH4 is the future. SH3 is still better if you play u-boats. I vote for both.

I also say both. Gives you more variety. One day you can be sinking tommys in the Atlantic, next you can be sinking Tojo in the Pacific. I'd be playing both but I need a new graphics card for SH4. D:

plus GWX is about to redo sh4 + ubm v1.5 as the new sh3 so depending on how that goes you may get the best of both in sh4 + ubm v1.5
