Free view

Hi captains,

I know that their is a free view for the interior by pressing SHIFT+F2 but I would like to know if we can have the same for the exterior ? I would like to "walk" on the ship...

Well you will have to get some mods to do any actual 'walking' on the ship.

In the meantime the 'full stop' period key . will give you a follow cam, F11 gives you an external free cam.

Thing is in the default game the follow key is limited as to its position and how close you can get.

For the camera specifically I dont know.

It was put into RFB. I kind of 'noticed' the difference.

W_Clear's environt mod includes 'walk around the deck' views, and I think Kriller2's does as well.

I have noticed that the "free camera" does not work in the Trigger Maru mod.

Get yourself a copy of the excellent S3D (link is in the SH4 mods forum) and open the cameras.dat file up in S3D. All the bells and whistles are twiddlable.
