Just bought SH4

I can't seem to get SH4 to work online, can anyone help? Anyone have any tips? I bought the gold edition.

Are you trying to host or are you trying to join a game?

Playing at Ubi or a LAN game?

I might giving you wrong advice, but if your gaming rig is behind a router, you need to OPEN certain ports on your router just to get the damn game to "see" other servers/players.

Port numbers based on a >>>old<<< UBI Forums post are:

19000,
19001, and
19002.

I finally threw in the towel and gave up on SH4 MP.

Again, I might be wrong. Do more MP research on the UBI Forums?

If you have success, let us know. I think many of us would enjoy a MP session. I just do not feel like wasting more time on something so simple that SHOULD work.

I am trying to find games threw Ubi, I am behind a router but have never opened ports before, totally new in that area. I am assuming you guys either have a diff. way of playing MP missions or just sticking with single player. Thanks guys for the help. :up:
