problems getting MP to work

ok..i have hamachi installed tried setting up a game..friend joined hamachi network i have..then i started sh4..went into MP..into lan, and he couldn't see anything

whenever i goto try to get on ubi.com through mp..i lock up and crash.

anyone have ideas on what to do?

am i setting up hamachi wrong?

anyone have any idea's? really want to do some MP, but as i said can't get anything to work right. my router/modem is built together and the firewall is turned off on it and my software firewall is zonealarm and everything is ok'd for internet including the server part.

I dont use hamachi so I can't help you there but If you have Microsoft firewall on that might cause an issue.

The other thing you have to make sure ports are open for forwarding.

19000 to 19002 for tcp and udp and ports 3074 to 3174 for tcp and udp.

i got MP to work through UBI.com but still not on hamachi..and all ports are open on the router/modem combo and the firewall so who knows

atleast i can setup a MP game on UBI.com and then have my friends join in that way

There you go great to hear that. :) As I mentioned before I dont use hamachi.
