Just dropping into this area to see just how popular SH3 Multiplayer is?
I typically play First Person Shooters in Multiplayer Online play but the option here in SH3 has always had me hovering my mouse over the option yet never click it.
Is there a large MP community for this game?
Are the missions Co-Op or Head to Head?
Are their dedicated servers or does one need to connect directly to another user (like the old dial-up days)?
Also, does the community use xfire (http://www.xfire.com), which is a gaming community tool/utility that allows one to chat with and find those whom are currently within and playing a particular game and where?
Within Xfire's site, you can create clans(communities). I searched and didn't find one set up for SH3. Having one set up would be great if looking for people to hook up with online for MP. Or even for some assistance with the game in general if needed.
