I have red and followed Red Devils instructions on creating missions, so that is no problem. But what I'm wondering is making the missions "multiplayer" and using them on ubisoft.com.

Can somebody be gracious enough to explain how this is done?

Or direct me to a thread that explains this?

Many thanks.

God Bless

Till all are one.

Go to the Multiplayer forum there is a sticky for setup. In your case specifically step 9.

My question has been posted 3/20/08 and no answers. Then "bam" an answer.

Thank you my friend, but that was the wrong answer (step 9).

I know how to "create game" on ubi.soft.

What I don't know, however, is how to make "homemade" missions usable for multiplayer.

Thanks anyway.

I've had the same problem with no one answering that is why I answered even though the post was old.

Ok, I am using SH4 but was told the editor is basically the same, so you of course do File/New to start and then in the Mission menu you select Parameters and at the top you select multiplayer. Then when you create the mission you add enough subs for the expected players, I think you can add up to 8 (not positive) Make sure to check "human controlled" on all of them and uncheck "delete on last waypoint". Put it in your multimission folder (The same rules apply where the folder and files must have the same name.) Then "Create" using that mission in Ubi.
I did run into one problem that I could not get an answer for but I think I figured it out. I could not get any of my missions to work (They would run for 1 minute and 38 seconds exactly...every time) and after a little trial and error, I discovered they won't work if you put the subs in the mission first when creating it. But I don't know if that is a bug with the 1.5 add-on or not, so to be safe put the subs in last. Ubisofts answer was "reinstall", that seems to be their answer for everything.
Good luck. If you need help, just PM me, I don't check the SH3 forum very often.

To convert a mission to multiplayer, you need to go to the Mission menu, then select Parameters. There, you will find a thing called "Mission Type", select "Multiplayer". Note that if you select Multiplayer, you must have 2 or more U-boats (other wise you will get a warning). This can be done by simply adding them. Note that if you cut-and-paste an existing U-boat, it will not retain the Human Controllable flag, and you will have to reset this manually. You may wish to check the Mission Editor Users Guide (link (http://nordfront.org/xvii-downloads/sh3_missioneditor_v12.pdf)) for more information. There are two sections that are relevant: pages 19 and 43.
