Is there a way of editing/adding keystrokes easily (for a non-programmer) for the Add-On or is there a Mod available for this?

In the Data/Cfg folder, there is a commands.txt, inside which you can set all kinds of custom keys, including things that are there but weren't 'activated'.

I have a key to bring up the stopwatch, I have a key for "give weather report", one for "depth below keel", etc.

it's very cool because you can ask for these reports without having to pull up order icons.

This was mine before the 1.4 and addon, I'm getting ready to adjust it for new things though...

As well I, and I'm sure others, have copied the key commands from Ducimus' Trigger Maru mod. It expands the number of keys available, only thing would be nice to make up a key chart since I cannot remember all the keys all the time :p

And you can use Jimimadrid's Hud Configurator program to make your own buttons in your Order's bar. It is compatible for version 1.5. I have added weather buttons, max fuel range for current speed, and others using this program.

looking thru the cfg file, i could not locate the command for the interface. (number pad delete). where in the config file is it. i want to change the command from number pad delete, to the middle mouse button. is that possible?

I remember Jimimadrid's Hud Configurator from an earlier version but can no longer find it. Do you have a link?

I am using a mod of my own making stolen from Trigger Maru (Ducimus, quit hitting me!) which is the complete keyboard layout from TM plus shift-i for some officer (depending on mods running) identify target. If anybody's interested I'll make it available on Filefront. It works great with SH4UBM. Heck, here you go. I hate to be teased. for editing the command.cfg, you can use setkeys.exe. this is a small programm you cann find here at subsim. just rename the commands.cfg in commands_de (or commands_en, for english) and open it with setkeys.exe.

RockinRobin - here in Canada we've been on Metric systems for more than 10 years now (may even be longer). I grew up learning Imperial system so now 10 years into Metric I still don't know how many litres in a kilometer. :>

Rockin Robbins - thanks for SH4 Menu Maker - it looks very useful.
I do need some help though. I added a few items & then when I went to save file it says "Not possible to save, because Button 13 missing Push Command." Any idea what this means.

But here's a link to the thread itself and you can ask Jimimadrid about it! This could be great! But as soon as I come in from my Trial and Terror Manual Targeting or Bust U-Boat mission I'll be loading up the new version of Trigger Maru. I can't think of any buttons I'd like to add yet!

Jimimadrid says his latest version works with both patch 1.4 and 1.5. Let us know what you find!
