Taken during the recent 'flooding' here in the UK, this is an example of our highest calibre of officers currently serving in our police force; brave caring and able to use tact and initiative when called for.

LMAO! that's so funny.
You'd think some coppers driving around Derbyshire (which is practically the home of most Land Rovers in the UK, including mine a lot of the time) would know about driving through water, especially since there are a number of deep water fords in Derbyshire. If they'd have gone through at a steady speed they'd have probably made it just fine. Besides which, most people around those parts could have told them to just shove a bit of cardboard down the front of the engine bay while they drove through water and then take it out - that usually works.
As it is, they were probably just rushing to get to the chippy in time, before it shut!

Now that I must admit was very funny
But being in the same job as one of those who were doing the pushing....there is a part of me which is just praying that they weren't responding to someone in a life threatening situation :yep:

If they had gone through it right you can get a van like that through that water easily notice though he slowed down before he cut out, they should have used a range rover.

No but there is something annoying about the accent and the way they were talking. And I'm from the north myself.

Mind you....it depends on what you consider to be 'the North'. Where I reside...Yorkshire area is considered part of 'the South' by some. :yep:
