SH4 unable to connect to Ubi Multi Play

Howdy

I have the DVD Boxed version, and Installed on Friday.
I istalled the 1.1 Patch and some Mods off this site.

When I attempt to play a multi Play game on Ubi Forums I enter teh CD key on the back of the Instruction Manuel and it keeps telling me that it is an invalid number.
Any Ideas of what could be wrong ?

I've the same problem here, I'll wait till the next patch or, if Neptune bless me, I'll try to find a solution.

When I Installed it I was never asked for a CD Key.
I installed the 1.1 Patch and tried to join UBI Multiplayer games and it says teh Key is invalid or wrong key, hard to believe since it came off the back of their Manuel .

Ok..... so now I feel like a Putz!

The ... O's.... turned out to be ..... zeros's.... so if you have an o in your serial number make sure it isn't a zero first, I should have checked that right off but instead I was over tired and knee jerk reacted.

Im still having isue's with Himachi thought, still won't allow me to join my other games Thru differant servers.
And I don't even have it running in the back ground thats the kicker, I might have to install it and uninstall it everytime I want to Play SH 4 ?
Don't knwo yet until some one can assist me in figuring out what I am doing wrong.
Knowing me it's something simple like a button being ticked or pushed .

anyone want to see SH4 supported in HyperLobby? Maybe we can all chip in and get Neal to send jins a copy of SH4 so we can play multiplayer. not just sit in an empty lobby not knowing if anyone is there waiting for a 999 ping game to pop up
anyone here is the post at hyperlobby forums.. pacific fighters works great in hyperlobby and sort of the same format as SH4.. also its the only way to play SCS Dangerous Waters online IMHO

Subroc I like the idea and I would be willing to throw in 20 bucks to get a copy to the Hyper Lobby people.
Their server is a good one and puts Ubi's servers to shame, but that's my personnal opinion.

Im all for it I say thumbs up it would give us that much more options for multiplay I love this idea.

Having Jiri add it to HyperLobby would be outstanding and great increase the probability for online play and promote the community.

I will contribute $20.00 towards the purchase of a copy of SH4 for Jiri for use to adapt to hyperlobby.. and any remaining to Jiri for incentive to program it into Hyperlobby.. Like to see it done as soon as possible so we can do some multiplayer SH4.. here is a thread started by WWsandman here at subsim

This is a doable Idea

There needs to be A post indicating from the Dev people indicating that this is going to happen, and if it doesn't.... then this is totally doable on our own.
There needs to be 2 collections zones, one for Europe.... the other for the United States and Canada.
Unless everyone agrees to use one central point to collect these funds, there is always the option of contacting the Hyper Fighter team and sending them the donations directly to make certain the cash is going to the correct location and not into someones pockets, I hate to say it but having been a Cop for 23 yrs I have seen worse things happen, but it is a common occurance.
I like it when a plan comes together .

I xfered $20.00 USD to SSsandmans paypal account from mine.. if he dosnt deliver (I am quite sure he will) you can file a complaint to paypal so there is recourse // but having looked at SSsandmans website and his eagerness to accomplish the goal of SH4 support in HyperLobby .. I have a warm fuzzy feeling of a good outcome .. if we wait on devs.. SH5 will be out :). but I certainly understand your caution! :up:

I worked In Sparks NV. for 23 yrs, it sort of runs right into Reno , they are side by side.
If your In Washington ? then it will take a few days to get there cause I live out here in Hooterville now, it takes the mail about an extra 2-3 days to get anywhere.
If I want to send my neighbor across the street a card, it first has to travel to Salt Lake City Utah, and then back.
A typical Govt. agency for ya.
