sh4 wont load anymore

ok, since i havent found anything via search im gonna post it.

well, the problem is, i cant load up sh4 anymore. it keeps saying "please insert original disc to dvd drive" which i ofcourse have. it was running fine like 4days ago or something when i last played. i just changed some mods trhough jsgme.
even reinstalling the game doesnt help... disabled all virtual drives etc.

anybody got a suggestion?

I remember from SH3 that sometimes the main.cfg got corrupted.

I renamed the directory SH3 (the one in own files NOT the game directory) in something like SH3_BAK, restarted the game, left the game and then copy back the savegames...

Maybe that works in SH4 too?
