PPI - where is the land?

Hi all,

I started another career in '44 to give the Balao class with all the nifty gadgets a try.

So I check out the sirface radar. I get returns off of ships, but there is the land? In SH1 I used to be able to navigate by surface radar at radar depth - but perhaps not in SHIV?

I guess I was surprised to not have any feed back from land, etc. on the scope.

Its a shame that SH1 had such and SH4 most likely will never have it. I come to believe that most of their development has gone to have great explosions and lots of eye candy to attract lots of 'casual players'...
