I applied Patch 1.1 onto a seemingly stable vanilla install of SH4 and wow, what a mess. The game became so unstable that I am now reinstalling the game.
I read through the forums and tried several different approaches to isolating what was causing the crashes, but to no avail. I will have to run the 1.0 version until a patch is released that does not cause more harm than fix to my setup.
I am running Vista Ultimate 64 on the following harware:
ASUS Crosshair
AMD Athlon 64 X2, 5200+
2 GB RAM
8800 GTS with latest drivers
Not sure what caused it, but I was like major bummed when I could not get it to stay running for more than 5 minutes! Addicted :)
