im setting up a server with hamachi. wants to try 8 player,

I start the server now. settings will be hard.


Alt tab dont seems to work when setting up a server =) i wait and see if someone joins.

It worked wonderfully.

got in a game with Melin, it works pretty well, but chat is pretty wonky. Only very short chat messages at one time, about 3 words. :)

Good games!!! Very enjoyable, almost got three of Neals convoy ships! The thermal layer seems to be very helpful in multiplayer, :up::rock::arrgh!::rock::up:

Good game, Sank. I had no idea where any subs were. No messages from the AI escorts, no map, no chat with the sub players (isolated!). This area needs a lot of work to make it playable for the CC. The CC player may as well set all the escorts to AI control and go get a pizza.

That really stinks. I completely admit i feel like i had a horrid advantage considering the free camera, wouldn't even be fair to have Auto TDC on multiplayer.

I think MP could work but it needs a lot of changes to make it interesting/rewarding. The CC should have a map view so he can control his ships, and receive feedback on contacts picked up by other ships.

It would also be nice if the merchants kept sailing at 6~10 knots instead of coming to a halt in a big pile.

And as best as I can tell, the player cannot use the [ and ] and ' keys to control the helm.... :-?

I guess chat problems could be worked around by using VOIP software, but I also guess not everybody might like the prospect of talking to eachother.
