DW Hamachi Room

Heya guys, download Hamachi from the following URL and join the room "dangerouswaters" using the password of "password"

If you are logged in to Hamachi then you will see everybody else who are also logged in to Hamachi within the "dangerouswaters" room.
This means that if somebody creates a LAN game within dangerous waters it will show up on your LAN game list too!!

Hamachi is a UDP-based virtual private networking system. Its peers utilize the help of a third node called a mediation server to locate each other and to bootstrap the connection between them. The connection itself is direct and once it is established no traffic flows through our servers.

Hamachi is not just truly peer-to-peer; it is verifiably secure (http://www.hamachi.cc/security) peer-to-peer.

Believe it or not, but we are able to successfully mediate p2p connections in roughly 95% of all cases we have dealt with so far. This includes peers residing behind various firewalls or broadband routers (aka NAT devices). It is high-tech and it is really cool :)

I have noticed a few people in the room so far, I have made a channel on my ventrilo server for people to use.
The channel is called "Dangerous Waters" and the password is "dwaters"

I see people in the "dangerouswaters" room, but they are all grayed out. I tried the 'go online' thing, and no dice. Any hints or tips would be great! =D Thier status appears to be offilne but I can't be sure this is the case.

I'm using the free version of Hamachi; I can set up a room if I have a general idea of what time some of you are available for multi-play. :up:

I just tried to join 'dangerouswaters' and it was full. So I created 'dangerouswaters2' using the same password.

If you want to log in to the first dangerouswaters room, all you have to do is press the "Try Hamachi Premium" button at preferences, this work for 30 days. There are already more than 16 people in the room, though everyone is offline ATM.

Does Hamachi really work well with DW? I heared there can be lots of overhead and performance issues with games and Hamachi.
Do you need to forward any ports on the router to play DW via Hamachi?
