'Expert Pool' Help Required

Decided to buy this again and try and install it into my Computer as the last one wouldn't work. Now I get the Psygnosis intro then a warning caption;

EXPERT POOL: ERROR
Expert Pool CD not found. Please insert the CD and restart the game.

The CD is in the Computer :damn: ! I leave it in and launch the game. Does anybody have a 'fix' for this or point me in the direction of a web-site that can help me with this problem.

Try and run it in "Compatibility Mode". Right-click the icon, select Properties, click the Compatibility tab, select "Run this program in compatibility mode for:", set it to Windows 95.

Tried that but I still get the same silly message .. I've tried Windows 95 and 98 versions so don't understand this ?!

Check if there´s an official patch. If nothing helps ask Google for further help.

By the way, the best Pool game is "Virtual Pool 3". It´s available as a digital download for $21.95:

Hi Gizzmoe and thanks for your help; I will look at both, do you use the same action in Virtual Pool as Expert Pool .. control the cueing action using the mouse ?

You use the mouse and keyboard. Try the demo version.
