Well Chrys therein lies the problem. Graf Spee was never MEANT to engage other warships, she literally had no armor whatsoever, guns of her own caliber (11") could overpenetrate her. the biggest thing she could safely engage in gun duels was a destroyer. Basically she is/was what I call a "bully" ship, I use that term since we know a bully usually only excels at beating down weaker opponents, which is what the "pocket battleship" type was meant for.
Don't get me wrong I think GS was a beautiful ship and has an interesting and rich (if brief) history, but she wasnt on the whole a very sound design when it came down to actual as opposed to on paper performance.
Rammsteinwhatever lacks any knowledge on Deutschland-class Panzerschiffs,
its purpose, its rol as raider and deeds.
So much words to show fine inaccuracy in statements.

Interesting mod, will try the newer one!
Thanks
@Nictalope, if you're going to insult someone, kindly at least spell their handle correctly, thanks.
Also, I know of Langsdorff and the Graf Spee well enough brother, and considering the German surface fleet were intended as commerce raiders, yes it can be considered that Graf Spee wasnt meant to fight warships (if it could be avoided) the Kriegsmarine didn't want to risk its expensive surface units fighting a guaranteed losing battle against the RN, WWI had soured them on the idea of a great surface battle between capital units that they could win.
