At Ubiforums, there is a choice of getting an e-mail notification of every new topic posted in a forum, not just the replies to an earlier topic. Would this be hard to include in Subsim.com's Topic Reply Notification features?

Cannot do that with this forum software, but we have an RSS feed. I will add an RSS Feed link to the top right.
