Recharging batteries in AOD......

How the hell is this done again ? I can't remember at all !?!?

Unfortunately, all I have left is the cd, keycard, and box :(

Run at surface (Automatically done with diesels by the AI) and your batteries will be automatically recharged. You can watch the battery gauge (B key) raise again during your run at surface if you kick a higher time compression :up:

Yeah, thats what I thought, but in so doing, it was actually discharging them !

Anyway, I did a re-install off the cd, and now it works, so I must have fubared the first install somehow.

Actually, I have encountered a number of bugs in the campaign of AOD 1.2.

One of them is what you encountered where it won't switch from batteries to diesel even when surfaced. (I've made a utility that copies and time stamps the autosave file; running in background under Windows. Thus, I can back track to a good save when and if this happens.)

Another bug I have found is that when you have a wolfpack engage with a small convoy and you sink everything but the escorts, the game (Bdu) still thinks the convoy is active and keeps ordering your boats back in.

I guess it is somewhat unlikely that we'll see a 1.3 patch to the game at this point. :)
