Hi Subsim!

I've been doing a livestream of command gameplay as well as an interview with Mike Mykytyn, one of the great Command devs.

Next time I'm live is tomorrow at 5:00pm PDT!

I’m going to be live in about 20 hours from now!

http://baloogan.com/scen_tut.jpg (http://baloogancampaign.com)

I will focus on the scenario editor; essentially doing a tutorial for the editor. I'm going to be taking questions from the chat as well as creating a few simple scenarios, playable from either side.

Hi Everyone! Thanks Myk for making this thread here and posting about me on your Facebook and across the internet! :D

I was raised on Fleet Command, Harpoon, Falcon 4, Silent Hunter, Red Storm Rising, Dangerous Waters and all Sonalyists games really! I've decided to start streaming gameplay of naval combat simulation games, starting off with a big dose of COMMAND.

In real life I'm a SONAR/LiDAR data analyst, and my career was certainly influenced by my time playing games you are all familiar with.
As you can tell from my join date I've been a lurker here for quite some time!

Here is a list of my videos that are currently on YouTube:

Episode 1 (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?feature=addto&list=PLgRuKky0mojZE3AmK_fEZ5ACpnvflHi-o)

Part 1 Air Tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddhTe4skXdk)
I play though the Air Tutorial while explaining terrain masking and other radar sensor oriented details.

Part 2 Submarine Tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXX7eLRO7xw)
I play though the Submarine Tutorial, sink 2 ships, 1 sub and evade a few torpedoes while discussing sonar physics and modern submarine ASW & ASuW tactics.

Part 3 Syria Sandbox (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SvmrfAJS5E)
Who knew nuking Syria with Israeli nukes would be so fun?

Episode 2 (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgRuKky0mojZLZ6-qqm524zkS0nym_5C)

Part 1 Operation Lightning Strike (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aHvrXV-rUo&list=PLgRuKky0mojZLZ6-qqm524zkS0nym_5Cf&index=1)
I play through Operation Lightning Strike. There is nothing more frightening to U.S. military planners than nuclear weapons falling into the wrong hands. Unfortunately the most likely places this could happen also present significant political and military challenges.

Part 2 Google Earth Livestream (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcMJNR4oMfg&list=PLgRuKky0mojZLZ6-qqm524zkS0nym_5Cf&index=2)
After that I tested out a utility I made to live stream or geostream data from Command into Google Earth on my stream’s viewers’ computers.

Part 3 GIUK Sandbox (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7GwonsFGwI&list=PLgRuKky0mojZLZ6-qqm524zkS0nym_5Cf&index=3)
A sandbox GIUK 1980 scenario between a Soviet SAG (Surface Action Group) and American forces stationed on Iceland with a CVBG (Carrier Battle Group) moving to help oppose the Soviets.

Part 4 Shoot That Sat (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0XhY59HgUg&list=PLgRuKky0mojZLZ6-qqm524zkS0nym_5Cf&index=4)
Someone in the stream’s chat had a question about ASAT weapons; so I immideately set out to intercept a Kosmos Soviet satellite using F-15 Eagles armed with ASM-135 ASAT anti-satellite multi-stage missiles. I expended 2 ASM-135′s and scored one hit on the ELINT sat.

Hi Wargamers!

I'm going to be streaming live today (Wednesday) at 5:00 pm PDT (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=5&iso=20131002T17&p1=256&ah=4)!

Stream is located at http://www.twitch.tv/baloogancampaign

I decided I couldn't wait till the weekend to continue Operation Lightning Strike (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aHvrXV-rUo&feature=c4-overview&list=UU2F5VVrGfSlZXCxoUppJoWA); I really wanted to continue the scenario.

After the F-16 flights dueled some JF-17 elements northern Pakistan erupts into a cacophony of active radar emitters and new bogies! The F-22s are within 150 nm of the Pakistani coast! And some new surface contacts are detected between India and Pakistan! What will happen next? I have no idea...

I've upgraded my internet service, now I get 2.5 mbps rather than 0.5 mbps upload which means a faster, higher quality stream. An example of the new quality is the upload of my first Baloogan Highlight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGrP-MAWtx0&feature=c4-overview&list=UU2F5VVrGfSlZXCxoUppJoWA), in which I look at offensive electronic warfare.

As always I'll try to answer any questions you might have about the game or about naval operations and tactics. Please pass the word!

Hi everyone!

This coming Saturday (5pm PDT Oct 12th) I will have a special guest on the show: Mike Mykytyn!!!! I'll be asking him questions about Command, WarfareSims and about the future of computer wargaming and modern naval combat!

Also if you want to ask questions about the game you are more than welcome to join the chat to ask questions!

If you have used the Editor=>Import/Export Units feature in Command then you might have blown up some of Mike's content! I know I have!

Command's ability to create a ready made scenario via the Import/Export units feature is absolutely one of my favorite features! If I want to invade Syrian airspace to blow up Assad I turn to the huge amount of Syrian units in Command's import system, it lends credibility to sandbox scenarios... If I'm blowing up real SA-5 positions in the real Syria it makes the game seem so much more immediate!

I like the import feature so much that the background of my website at http://baloogancampaign.com is entirely from the CentFront import files! You can make that huge scenario in about 20 clicks and a few minutes in game!

Please join us LIVE on Saturday (5pm PDT Oct 12th)!

I've created a PBEM multiplayer plugin for Command I call Joint Command (http://baloogancampaign.com/command-plugins/joint-command/); its still in a closed beta stage but I wouldn't mind a few more beta testers to find bugs and problems before a general release.

Also there will be no Baloogan Campaign show tomorrow, I'll be spending the weekend with family.

I’d like to arrange a public test of my multiplayer plugin for this Saturday! I’ve created a plugin for Command called Joint Command (http://baloogancampaign.com/command-plugins/joint-command/). It is turn-based, and has a real PBEM (Play by email) feel to it; though Joint Command takes care of sending the required files around.

I will be accepting all beta applications during and before the stream. Please email me at baloogan@baloogan.com, or comment on my site with your email to apply in advance (http://baloogancampaign.com), but also feel free to request beta access during the stream!

I will play with you in your own scenario of your own creation, or in any scenario you would like! I’ll be playing my turns on the live during the stream! 1v1, 2vAI, 2v2, 2v1 what ever setup you might like can happen!

Please limit your scenarios’ side, 500 unit maximum. My poor computer can’t take live streaming, running Command multiplayer turns, creating Google Earth databases, and huge Command scenarios all at once!

Also if anyone wants to play versus each other in the chat at the same time as the stream please feel free! I will be commenting on the Google Earth output as your scenarios progress on the stream! Please have Command build 460 (http://baloogancampaign.com/command-documentation/patches/) and Google Earth (http://www.google.com/earth/download/ge/agree.html) installed before the stream.

Joint Command is still in beta; there have been some very successful matches so far but the purpose of this test is to overload Joint Command so I can see where it fails when it's overloaded with games and players.

So please join us this Saturday November 16th, 5:00 PM PST (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20131116T1700&p1=256) and let's destroy things together!!

Date/Time: 19 January, 1976 / 23:00:00 Zulu (November 23rd 2013, 5:00 PM PST)

Location: Gulf of Aden

Introduction

In 1972 the Soviet Union signed an agreement with Somalia to improve and modernize the port of Berbera in return for Soviet access to the facility. Access to Berbera gave the Soviet Union the ability to counter United States military activities in the strategically important Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf region. The port was built into a Soviet naval base with missile storage facilities for the Soviet Fleet, an airfield with runways capable of handling naval bombers, and extensive radar and communications facilities. Berbera became even more important after Egypt expelled all Soviet advisers that same year.

Six hours ago an EKA-3B from USS Oriskany crashed in northern Somalia, the EKA-3B Raven 21 was on a Ferret mission to the Soviet bases at Berbera in Somalia. Last comms report from the Raven 21 was “SAM lock-on activating counter-measures”.

The USS Tarawa Amphibious Group en-route from Aden has deployed a recovery team to the “Down Bird” site, and the USS Oriskany Strike Group is moving at flank speed to provide support. Somalia has told the United States that any further encroachments into her air space with be met by hostile force. At present Somali and Soviet forces are trying to locate the crash site to recover the crew and any intelligence information.

Mission

1. Effect safe rescue of downed bird crew (CSAR helos will be airborne in 3 hrs).

2. CSAR helos are to be given full protection whilst on the ground and in the air.

3. Any hostile intent from Soviet and Somali forces will be met with similar force.

4. Any loss of CSAR helo’s will result in a “Mission Failure”.

Signal: EMCON State B, limited emissions: Plan Falcon

Desert Storm was the most meticulously planned and decisive air campaigns to be carried out in human history to date. War planners were given a massive arsenal designed to fight Warsaw Pact forces in Europe to systematically incapacitate and defeat one of the larger and more battle experienced armies in the world at the time. Target lists were large and complex and challenged planners to match the right platforms and weapons to the right targets while still moving the war forward with minimal loss.

This week I'll be playing Shamal, a scenario which comes with Command designed to simulate the air war on the 4th day of Desert Storm! I'll be commanding the USAF forces, operating in tandem with USN forces! We will be neutralizing a number of airfields and chemical weapons manufacturing plants.

Geoscape (http://baloogancampaign.com/)

Hey all! Just wanted to make a formal announcement of my next plugin: “Geoscape“!

Geoscape is a multiplayer dynamic campaign for Command. Geoscape will take commands from players and determine when combat needs to be resolved. It then generates Joint Command matches for each theater and then Joint Command in turn generates Command scenarios!

Geoscape is about persistence, units will exist before multiplayer matches and will exist (potentially damaged!) after multiplayer matches. Logistics will also be tracked, weapons will need to be shipped or flown around.

If you would like to help beta test Geoscape please sign up by chatting with us here: https://jabbr.net/#/rooms/baloogan or emailing me at baloogan@baloogan.com !

Version 1.02 of Command is out (http://baloogancampaign.com/command-documentation/patches/); just one more present under your tree from the folks at Warfare Sims!

During this week's episode I'll be playing V1.02 and playing one of the shorter scenarios that comes with the game: The Tiger and the Dragon! I will be exploring the new features of Command V1.02!

This hypothetical scenario assumes another dramatic collapse of relations between India and China takes place in mid-2019. India moves a strong naval force centered on the aircraft carrier Vikramaditya (Ex-Gorshkov) into the South China Sea. Worried about India's growing naval presence in such areas of strategic concern, China has decided to answer the Indian move which they view as nothing less than a challenge, and sends the aircraft carrier Liaoning (Ex-Varyag) to intercept.

No Hornets in this carrier vs carrier fight!

Please join us at Saturday, 11:00 AM PST (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20131221T1100&p1=256)!

Stream will be at http://twitch.tv/baloogancampaign
Chat is at https://jabbr.net/#/rooms/baloogan

One last thing! Please check out the new Command documentation wiki located at http://wiki.baloogancampaign.com/ !

When I heard of this Command. A wish came into my mind, a huge multi player scenario. A big clash between NATO and the warsaw pact

How many player on each side and how much each player should control I don't know, haven't been thinking so far.

Then I read that there ain't no multiplayer in Command.

Can always hope they will include this later.

You're right. There isn't any MP capability in MNO, although it will supposedly be added in the future. The best MNO has done is cobble together an ad hoc system whereby a couple of players exchange a file similar to a PBEM set up.

Unfortunately, it isn't even really PBEM because it is mathematically impossible for a participant to be in control of his units more than 50% of the time. When the player is not in control of his forces (i.e. the opponent's "turn"), he must transfer control of his units to the AI and this is usually a recipe for disaster. No matter what you do, the AI will be in control of your units half of the time.

If you really want an MP match, you'll have to wait until the function is added or else try games like Naval War Arctic Circle, Harpoon, or Fleet Command. We just finished a gigantic MP match in Harpoon which you would never be able to try in MNO:

Thank you, for your reply.

I'm not any kind of game-builder or creator if I was I would create a DC2 that would be comp. with SH3, SH4 and SH5

I do however now something about MP or how to use it.

I do remember all those nights where I played SH2 and DC with other friends from Subsim. When a game was finish we closed down or the host of the game shot the MP down.

I thought it would be quite the same in a MP in Command.

A meet in a chat, chose of game, chose of Host, start of game. Game ends, everyone say thanks for a good game, host close MP and everyone goes back to what he or she did before or whatever.
(in other words MP is only active when two or more player chose to play a MP game.)

When it comes to this NATO-the warsaw pact clash, I know it will be a huge MP-game.

I do not understand this AI-stuff regarding MP. In a MP-game there are only human controlling the units. Or is there something that I have missed?

Hey mapuc, I'd recommend not listening to Herman about this. I've banned him from all Command multiplayer for having a bad attitude and I think he is still a little sore about it. :03:

Also, this multiplayer plugin has not been developed by Warfare Sims.

mapuc, if you would like to give multiplayer command a shot please drop by our chat room here https://jabbr.net/#/rooms/baloogan and we can get you set up with a multiplayer account and an opponent or two!

So far we have 43 (!) players! And have had roughly 60 or so games, 20 of which are active currently.

The way my multiplayer plugin works is that everyone plays at their own pace, and everyone doesn't have to be present for the game to progress. Its kinda like playing chess via email.

Also, Joint Command, the multiplayer plugin, is turn based. Each player gets to command their units for 10 minutes, and they set up the AI to fight for them when it isn't their turn. Then Joint Command (JC) sends the save file to the other player, changes the side automatically and allows the other player to play.

I intentionally set it up this way because unlike some I'm a really busy guy and its tough to set up times when everyone can be in front of their computers at once to play things in real time.

I'd recommend taking a look at this thread for more info: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3464981
This thread here on SubSim isn't about Joint Command, but rather about my online live stream of naval warfare simulations. :)

To be honest I haven't got the game yet. The price was..well..a little to expensive to what my wallet could handle

I'm however saving some few bucks every month and I should have enoug in the end of Feb. or Mars. and I hope there will be some kind of a official MP to the game-Not saying that your MP isn't good.

Continuing MP-playing using AI?? That's new to me. ´cause in those MP-games I have played every almost every units is controlled by humans(except the Merch in SH2 Vs DC)

I'm not some expert on creating a MP game.

If we should create such a clash, every player should be prepared for many hours of gameplay(with breaks now and then)or until all his or her units has been destroyed.

I have seen every part of your campaign with pleasure, except those with background music.

This will be the last post regarding MP and I'm sorry I used your thread to this.

Quite alright; herman has been trying to troll me on a few forums, and the best way he can is to attack my plugins and scare people off from giving them a try. He is definitely not a positive influence on anyone lol :D

I'm not some expert on creating a MP game.

If we should create such a clash, every player should be prepared for many hours of gameplay(with breaks now and then)or until all his or her units has been destroyed.

You have the general idea behind normal MP games. Most games have Real Time and the ability to pause. This is how MP is done in games like Dangerous Waters, Naval War Arctic Circle, Destroyer Command, Fleet Command and Harpoon. Since you are familiar with those games, you know that a clock is run continuously in real time. You can speed up with time compression and either side can pause the game. All units are under 100% control of the player at all times.

The pseudo-PBEM system used by MNO was first devised as a Harpoon work-around solution in 1996 (before there was a true MP capability for Harpoon. http://www.harpoonpages.com/ftp/util/h2hhrule.txt

It never really took off because the entire idea was just silly. Players only used it if they were truly desperate. However, as you can see, there are plenty of games with proper MP capability so that you do not need to mess with such awkward ad hoc systems.

Here's how a turn generally runs in the jury-rigged MNO PBEM:

1) 00:00H Both sides enter orders for their sides at the start of a scenario. Turn cycles can be any length, but let's just use 30 mins for this example.
2) 00:00H - 00:30H One side [Blue] runs the game and is in 100% control of his Blue units. He can issue orders as he likes. The Red player has [B]no control whatsoever for his units. The orders he entered are carried out by the AI to the best of its ability. The AI is in total control of Red forces.
3) 00:30H The 30 min turn is complete for the Blue player and he sends the file to the Red player.
4) 00:30H - 01:00H Red runs the game and is in total control of his units and can issue orders. Blue has no control over his units and the AI carries out whatever vestigial orders were issued before the turn was sent to Red.

So, you can see how no player is ever in control of his forces more than 50% of the game. It is mathematically impossible. The usual winner is the guy who got lucky and had the forces/turn under his control when the shooting starts. The other guy, relying on the AI to handle his forces, just gets massacred.

The best and funniest depiction of this situation is the Bugs Bunny cartoon whereby he is sharing a bowl of soup with Christopher Columbus and it ends up in "The Captain's Mess" at the 3 minute 40 second mark.

http://www.ulozto.net/live/xE2USHX/bugs-bunny-hare-we-go-1951-avi

Since you do not yet own the game, you should know that this is how it works before you invest your money. If you are looking for real MP capability, try Harpoon, FC, DC, or DWaters. You won't find any here.

If you play Harpoon, give me a shout. I would love to play a big multi-carrier battle with you!

So if you, or anyone else, are interested in trying out this multiplayer plugin please drop me a line at baloogan@baloogan.com or drop by the Command chat room I've set up here: https://jabbr.net/#/rooms/baloogan (this is where we arrange multiplayer matches, and discuss command plugin development)

My next plugin: Geoscape; is a multiplayer dynamic campaign generator for Command and isn't yet ready to show off. :) Geoscape is designed to contain 1000s more units than Command could ever handle, and then create dynamically created Joint Command scenarios where Geoscape detects combat is possible to happen. Then these scenarios are played out in Joint Command between the two sides and then at the end of a certain amount of time in game the results of these scenarios (unit positions, unit damage, fuel, muntions, etc) are loaded up back into Geoscape.

I made an early copy of a Command dynamic campaign generator called "Baloogan Campaign" but I realized that WWIII is much, much too big for a singleplayer experience, so I needed to create a multiplayer plugin for command first. That part is done :D now geoscape is next!

Cheers!

A wish for a future campaign. A scenario like the one we saw this Saturday(2/8-14) but here it's between USA and Russia.

Baloogan had such an scenario many weeks ago and was played during the cold war(50's) In this new scenario it will be in the near future.

I also like nukes(only in games)

Ah its fine to chat in here :) there isn't really a topic for this thread.

I watched your lastest Campaign with huge interest. And as I predicted it ran out of control. As you said-there's no winner in a nuclear war.

There's only losers, in this case the civilians(they are that in every war).

While watching, I was thinking on NK and what they would response? Their biggest allied China, is under attack. I guess they will go full scale against SK.

If sending the first atomic missile against a target indicate the start of a Nuclear war egal time 0 I guess that after 2 hours it will be over-with every huge city in the world destroyed and every military installation and other important even so.

Here is the LOG.

I think Joint Command is saying it can't get out onto the internet; might need to be let though your firewall/internet rules.

Yeah, it just spiraled entirely out of control. Huge number of casualties... No way to achieve any military goals. :D

Definitely planning to do more things. :D I'll be focusing on great cold war wargames, also I plan to host large scale wargames!

When thinking about it. You don't have to make a campaign like the one you did in 21. In this case between USA and Russia.

We all know the outcome of it(that is if you have the same settings)

It would of course look awesome.

I'm awaiting my new Diskdrev, so I can start playing Command.

Comrades!

As I'm sure you are all aware, there has been a greatly heightened degree of security at Northern Fleet Headquarters these past several weeks, a condition imposed by the General Staff in anticipation of an important, top-secret mission. The nature of that mission can now be revealed.

For the past several months, our finest strategic thinkers, military planners and war colleges have been working out the various possible outcomes of a war between the Soviet Union and NATO -- a war that seems to be more imminent than ever as tensions between East and West increase by the day.

Your mission: simulate encounters between NATO and Soviet air and naval assets to refine your skills; which will be needed in the coming days.

This week the People's Stream will introduce every late cold war scenario released by the Command Community! The stream will be at 11:00 AM PST; on the 22nd of February.

Red Episodes – Stop that Convoy, 1989
Red Episodes – SOS SOSUS, 1989
Red Episodes – Boomer to Sea, 1989
Red Episodes – No Sandbox No Joy, 1989
First Contact, 1986
Duelists, 1989
The Four Horsemen, 1987
Top Gun, 1986
Sideshow in the South China Sea, 1985

Have just been watching your latest campaign on your youtube channel.

I don't know if it's a bug in the game or if it was due to your own settings

While playing you and your host was wondering where the ballistic missile that was fired from USA and first when you changed side to NATO/USA you could see them- this is wrong

Almost after USA have launched they missile against Russia, Russia would have detected them.

Otherwise it was a great campaign.

Ah, in the scenario I was playing I did not include any Over the Horizon radars like the Russians have or any of the satellites that russians have to provide MASINT as to the ICBMs being launched.

That one was my fault :)

I've whipped up a simple scenario of a possible strike on Crimea by EUCOM and the HW Bush. The objective of the scenario is to destroy the 11th Anti-Submarine Brigade, a S-400 and a Bastion Bn on Crimea.

Please give it a try and tell me what you think! Its my first 'real' scenario. It has AI for the Russians, triggers, events, scoring and a briefing!

Hi Baloogan have just finished watching your latest campaign(24-Iron Hand) In the end you send lots and lots of Nukes from Russia.

I have tried to start every scenario I have-Stand alone and community made scenario and in every one of them I can't use Nuke

The fields in ROE where I can either allow, deny or( forgot the word) is Grey and all the rest is white and can be changed.

In an another forum someone said I could change this in the scenario editor- The only editor I can find is the mission editor.

I do know that not every country have nukes.

EDIT- Have found out how to.

Imagine if you would, the morning of December 7th 1941, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The Imperial Japanese Navy steaming towards the Hawaiian Islands in preparation for one of the most significant carrier strikes in history.

Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 — a date which will live in infamy — the United States of America, 1941 was suddenly and deliberately assisted by naval and air forces of the United States of America, 1980!

I have played some kind of same mission in Fleet command. Someone hade made a scenario called 1949. Ok it's not 1941 but not so far from it. I removed every American vessel and and replaced it with one Super carrier USS Nimitz.

How it went?? not so good, none of my missile impacted the Japanese fighter plane, I had to use the guns on my F-14 and F-18(did they exist in the year 1980?)

But my Harpoon, AGM and my bombs against the enemy ship worked alright.

Edit I can see that I used the wrong Nimitz.

"Nice to see your missiles miss as much as mine"

Try to play a scenario where there's no russian fighterplane involved

E.g USA versus England or USA versus France

then play a scenario where Russian fighterplane is involved

E.g USA versus Russian etc.

Then see the different in hit ratio.

Guess you have to find out what USA had gathered in that area and what the Cuban and the Russian had there.

The Baloogan Campaign stream will return this saturday with a special 'Command: Wargame of the Year' stream! On Friday Command is coming to Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/321410/)!

I'm planning to play Under African Skies (http://wiki.baloogancampaign.com/index.php/Scenario?Location=scens%2F%2FUnder+African+Skies+% 282017%29+v1.5.scen), a community scenario made by Feltan. (Matrix thread (http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3700311)) A scenario set in 2017 about a US task force attacking a China backed Nigeria.

The date of the event was Sunday, January 22, 2017. The time was 1:03 PM on the East Coast of the United States. The new American President had been sworn into office forty-eight hours ago, and this day he was in the White House with VIP guests, donors, campaign staff, family and friends. This privileged group, like tens of millions of Americans that day, is glued to the big screen television. Today is the highly anticipated American Football Conference Championship; the semi-final before the Super Bowl. The much hyped game was between the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens, and kick-off at Mile High Stadium in Denver just happened to the cheers of these elite party goers. The smart money said Denver would walk away with an easy victory – and since the new President hailed from Colorado, no one at the White House was wearing a Raven’s jersey. No one, that is, except the Senate Minority Leader who was from the opposing political party. It was all great fun. Spirits were high, the beer was flowing and the White House Chief of Staff couldn't have been happier with the electric atmosphere and upbeat photo ops that could only benefit his new boss. Little did anyone know that before half-time arrived, the country would forever be changed.
Would you like to know more? (http://wiki.baloogancampaign.com/index.php/Scenario?Location=scens%2F%2FUnder+African+Skies+% 282017%29+v1.5.scen)

Please join us on Saturday at 5:00 pm PDT (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20140927T1700&p1=256) for a live stream of Command: Wargame of the Year Edition.

In other news I've opened an affiliate sales account to sell Command; a special link to buy Command (https://www.bluesnap.com/jsp/buynow.jsp?contractId=3215772&referrer=1087588) is available to the right. A Steam key as well as a DRM-free copy of Command. Using that link means that Baloogan Campaign gets 30%. :)

There have been a significant amount of improvements to Command since release. One might ask, "What does 'Wargame of the Year Edition' mean? (http://baloogancampaign.com/command-documentation/new/)" This page outlines all the new features since V1.00.

As always our chatroom (https://jabbr.net/#/rooms/baloogan) is open to all; if you have a question about Command or even just want to chat about geopolitics, military technology & history please drop by!

And finally, I've set up a Tumblr Image/Video blog (http://baloogan.tumblr.com/) comprised of images and videos from the Baloogan Campaign Chatroom (https://jabbr.net/#/rooms/baloogan). Any image or youtube video posted to the chatroom is automatically uploaded there.

Got an idea to a new campaign. Its a little one and has to do with a discussion we have had in another subforum here on Subsim

We were discussing how well USS Iowa would stand against a group of modern FFG or DDG

The Idea

The Iowa is heading back home after have been visiting Japan on its way back it run into a group of FFG/DDG from China/Russia/NK. The leader of that group has lost his mind and think he will meet this Iowa head to head.

Just and Idea.
