Just give it a demo run. The demo is actually the final game and you just need to buy a key to unlock it, if you like it. The download is about 450mb last I checked. It may be a little larger now since they added some new stuff into the game.

I'm not totally sure about the payment options, you'd have to check the actual demo for this.
I think I just paid directly with my credit card for the games, not via paypal.

SES games are all download-only. Sadly, we don't sell enough of them to be given shelfspace in retail outlets.

Didn't there use to be an option to ship the Distant Guns (1.0) demo on a disk, for something like $5? I could swear that existed. I wonder if anyone had actually used that option...
