That's cool ;). Thanks.

I'm a closet fetisher of old French ships. I call them "The Influence of Absinthe upon Seapower" :).

You guys should totally do a French Navy expansion for Jutland. Bretagne class FTW. :)

I had to move Heaven and Hell to get a few funky old French ships in the game at all. The original idea was to not have the Channel in play, but I had to have a few of my weird old Frenchies :).

My ardent hope is that we make enough money off Jutland to do the Med, where the French ships will be revealed in all their glorious hideousness :). "Turpism", some would say.

You like French ships?! I was lucky enough to inherit a copy of "Conway's" 1860-1905 edition, and let me tell you - the Frenchies of that era make me cringe.:rotfl:

I dunno. They deserve a wing of their own in the Museum of Diseased Imaginings. They're just so wierd they defined their own genre beyond the normal realms of "ugly" and "beautiful". There is no adjective in English that adequately describes them. That's why I like them ;).

BTW, you can get the original plans for a bunch of them for free here:
