Strange one for Vista

I can run COD WaW in my user account. But, SH4 will start in my user account on Vista but I get the black screen after the intro stuff is done. I play the game in the Administrator account no problem. Any suggestions? Perhaps load the game in my user account instead of the administrator account?

Goto the shortcut properties of the game and select "run as Admin". Normal for most older games.

I will give that a try. I had loaded SH4 as an admin with no issues. I plan on loading it in my user account and see how it runs if at all. :up:

This simple trick...SH4 does not like it if you have set up your card with X4 or X8 anti whatever. Reset the card to default. Load the game. It will run now. Once done, go back and reset your card to the settings you want. All done, she should run in either admin or user account.
