IJN sub missions

Could someone help me and make a couple missions for my IJN Jyunsen B sub ? it's for download on my filefront page but as I use up all my time modding the d.. thing I don't have time to build missions for it..

Or better : a campaign ??:D

I converted two mission written for the Fubuki, so you can use the Jap sub. You could have used them with no conversion but it puts your sub on the surface and there were surface ships assisting. I deleted the suface ship and put your sub submerged.

But your sub will work with most of the German missions that have been posted.

I'm a bit confused. I started a thread (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=137352) looking for AI IJN sub activity against which I can operate my US Player Fleet Boat.

This thread seems to be talking about a 'Mod' U-Boat which looks like an IJN sub...to be sailed/operated by the 'german' Player....is that right????

Yes, Keltos is making a Japanese sub from scratch. He designed it in a 3D program and then used a German sub for parts to make it playable.

The Ai subs don't do anything, I did read a thread where Ducimus made one so it did work but the AI ones don't.

yep ! I'm the culprit ;)

Since they had very good submarines and plenty of different types I thought it would be fun to be on the other side with german tactics !

Plus the IJN subs did patrols in the indian ocean too, and the west coast... Think about what might've happended had they had different tactics...

just uploaded a new mod with three stand alone IJN subs : Jyunsen B, Kaichu and Kaidai.

Now all we need is a campaign, they did operate as well in the Indian Ocean, so they could be part of OM, but maybe a dedicated campaign would be in order ?
