Apparently some game companies do not understand that there are gamers overseas in such luxury spots as Iraq and Afghanistan that do have occasional access to internet, do have a computer and do like to escape from reality occasionally with a game. I particularly like SH IV. I was really looking forward to downloading the U Boat expansion pack. Do you know what? Because I am not physically located in the United States, I am not allowed to purchase and download it!! I sent an inquiry to Ubisoft digital download and received a reply that said, basically, too bad. Maybe you'd like to purchase something else that you can download. Ubisoft isn't the only one I've received similar responses from. I'm willing to bet that if enough of you were to express your dismay at such disrespect that attitude just might change.
I thank you for myself and for others in Iraq and Afghanistan with the same issue.

You know, they could have offered the British and European DVD. It would even have been great public service and good publicity if they sent you a copy for free in gratitude for your service to humanity. You guys are over there doing a nasty but necessary job. You deserve much better support than we've given.

Salute!

That's odd...

When I was stationed in Iraq, I was able to order a DVD from Ubi's store, and they mailed it to me without any issues. Perhaps you might want to try that route?
