Chock

Hi all. I'm currently scouring through all my WW2 books trying to find a reliable source for the paint scheme worn by a particular Luftwaffe aircraft on a particular day in 1940.
The aircraft in question is Oberleutnant Hermann-Friedrich Joppien's Messerschmitt bf109E of 1/JG 51, and the date in question is August 29th 1940. Joppien had not long been promoted to StaffelKapitan, so it's possible that the markings on his aircraft reflected this, or maybe not, and I'm assuming that the coulor scheme was something along the lines of this, possibly with a JG51 badge:

Of course these markings could be wrong and so any help with links and suggestions of what that aeroplane looked like would be greatly appreciated.
:D Chock
