Leading UK publisher G2 Games today announced the return of a classic helicopter flight simulation for PC CD-ROM. Enemy Engaged 2 is the sequel to the best selling chopper classic - Enemy Engaged: RAH-66 Comanche Versus Ka-52 Hokum.

A game that received universal praise for its dynamic and ground breaking content that maintains a large player base even today.

Released in 2000, the original Enemy Engaged set the standard for 21st century flight sims with stunningly realistic visuals and attention to detail. Enemy Engaged 2 is set to take the series even further with new dynamic missions and a complete overhaul of the graphics and audio to bring the game up to date with the latest and best flight simulations available.

Enemy Engaged 2 has been in development since early 2005 and is scheduled for release in 2007.

The other helo sim to talk about and look out for in 2007 hopefully will be Black Shark which is an extension of the Lockon series but also a standalone product.

That reminds me, I must get one of the EE series at some point, I played a demo of Comanche vs Hockum and quite enjoyed it, taking the Hokum up and having little idea of what I was doing...pressing switches at random...led to a rather memorable moment when at 1000-odd feet I pressed a switch and heard: "Ejecktink Rotahs!" and well...you can imagine the rest... :oops:

Damn good fun though :D
